Archenfeld keeps our business and service delivery in line with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development's definition of the term ‘sustainable’. This means we conduct our operations in a way that meets all our client and business needs, without compromising future generations.
We look at risk, obligations, and opportunities, regarding both their social and environmental impact and their financial implications. This gives us long-term resilience, which allows us to offer our clients robust, flexible services on an ongoing basis.
The international best practice standards that enable us to achieve sustainability are grouped into four broad categories:
- Engagement and Communication
We actively engage with the community, officials, other businesses, clients, and employees to structure our affairs and make decisions for the future.
- Deployment of Internationally Recognised Management Systems
We use management systems to ensure that sustainable business practices remain part of the culture of Archenfeld. Global ISO standards are applied as templates to our practices, to meet and align with client requirements.
- Measurement and Reporting
You can only determine success by measuring the results. We measure all our sustainable policies and procedures on an ongoing basis, producing internal and, where appropriate, external reports on our progress.
- Updating and Optimising our Practices
Our metrics help us to make decisions that further embed and develop our sustainable business policies. This ongoing improvement helps us deliver on our commitments to all stakeholders, both internal and external to our operations.
- Community and Environment
We care about our clients, but we also care about the communities and environments in which we work. Our sustainable business practices help to enhance communities and protect the environment.
